The SunRay II is moderately sized and has two light settings. As recommended by leading researchers, the light is delivered at a downward angle for maximum effectiveness and user comfort. The leg pieces of the desk stand are easily detached and reattached to the back of the unit for portability.

The SunRay II high setting provides 10,000 lux @ 23"; 5,000 lux @ 34"; or 2,500 lux @ 49". The low setting (only one switch turned on) provides 10,000 lux @ 14"; 5,000 lux @ 24"; or 2,500 lux @ 36".
